Floral CSA

  Join Our Family!

Over 30 years ago, my grandmother started Eliot Woods Farm Floral Services as a way to purchase more plant starts as she and my grandfather transformed a blackberry and lilac filled former tree farm into the gorgeous flower farm and family home that it is today. Through many long days and nights, sweat, dirt, tears and years of accumulating knowledge of the unique conditions of the gorge, the farm has become a well known stop for anyone looking for reasonably priced plant starts and flowers. Now, we are expanding and want to offer you the opportunity to contribute to that growth by offering a bouquet subscription (or floral CSA).

What is a Floral CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and is a business model that allows people to invest in and support local farms, farmers and families, in exchange for a share of the goods grown on the farm. A flower CSA is no different! You buy a share of the Eliot Woods Farm flower season, grown by our family in Hood River, and receive fresh, pesticide free, sustainably grown bouquets in return for your investment.

Your membership payments in early spring help to buy seeds, bulbs, stakes and other supplies and contribute to the beautifully arranged bouquets you’ll receive on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for 12 weeks during the peak growing season of June through September. There are other benefits to being a CSA member, including early access to design workshops, discounts on floral services for events, and the deep satisfaction of knowing you are an integral part of sustaining a local and family owned flower farm in the Hood River area.
